Blue Cheese Dressing

1 (4oz) blue cheese crumbled
1 c. Mayfield cottage cheese
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. Mayfield sour cream
1/4 c. Mayfield buttermilk
2 T white vinegar
2 T water
1/4 t. garlic salt
1/8 t. fresh ground pepper
 

Mix together and chill.

This is great in any salad of your choice but I prefer it on a fresh crisp wedge of iceberg lettuce. It is also great topped with crumbled bacon or fresh ground pepper.

Makes 2 ¼ cup

This recipe brings back special memories of dining out with my family when I was a little girl. My mother always ordered blue cheese dressing served on a lettuce wedge and shared it with me. I enjoyed the treat, although I did not enjoy when Mother wiped my face with her napkin dipped in ice cold water!
